Pregnancy was confirmed via ultrasound scan on 18.10.2018.
Misty had an x-ray on 20.11.2018 and we counted 9 puppies!!

  

On 23.11.2018 (Full Moon/Wolfenoot/Black Friday) Misty started whelping. She naturally delivered 6 puppies but, sadly, 2 were stillborn (a male and a female). Unfortunately, the 7th puppy became lodged in the birth canal and the only option to save the remaining 3 puppies was an emergency cesarean at 11pm. The remaining 3 puppies were delivered alive just before midnight at the vet clinic, where we also celebrated Dino's 30th birthday as the clock turned midnight. Sadly, shortly after birth via c-section, one of the male pups passed away despite our best efforts to save him (tube-feeding, subcutaneous infusions, etc). Thankfully, the 6 surviving puppies are doing well and Misty is taking excellent care of her newborn babies.
