BACKGROUND
Astra is our "Pick of the Litter" from our "Deep Space" litter, who we kept for future breeding.
Astra is the result of two generations of outcross breeding: Snow (her outcross sire) and Attila (her outcross grand-sire).
As such, she brings a lot of interesting new genes to our breeding program... specifically, Siberian Husky (show line) and Belgian Shepherd (Groenendael).
Astra lives with us at Sylvaen Acres, our family estate/homestead, and she is our much-loved personal companion and family pet.
Thankfully, she passed all of the required health testing to qualify for breeding.
Astra had her first litter in spring 2024, which was sired by our outcross stud dog Ranger: "Stars" litter!

Astra is a playful girl... she is very friendly/silly and she gets along wonderfully with all people and dogs.
Her Siberian Husky (show line) ancestry is notable in her character.
She is highly intelligent and relatively easy-to-train, although she can be quite stubborn with "selective hearing" at times.
