BACKGROUND
Oberon is my "Pick of the Litter" male offspring from my Game of Thrones' Houses litter who I kept on a co-ownership basis for future breeding.
As soon as he was born, it was "love at first sight" but, as he developed, it was clear that I had made the right choice to keep him for future breeding instead of selling him.
He exhibited all of the traits I hoped to see in a potential future breeding dog, with the addition of fresh American Wolfdog genes from his outcross sire, Lupo.
Oberon looks very similar to his mother, Zora, and he has a very similar character: he is a wonderful, friendly, outgoing/social boy.
With my permission, Oberon currently resides with his co-owners, Ana and Hrvoje, at his Guardian Home in Zagreb.
As a puppy, I "gave" Oberon (for free!) to his co-owners, with a co-ownership contract ensuring that I would be able to use Oberon for breeding.
When Oberon turned 1 year old, I financed all of the required health testing (hip/elbow x-rays + BVA evaluation, eye exam, as well as all the necessary DNA testing) for Oberon to qualify as an official stud dog, and thankfully passed all of his exams with excellent results.
Fortunately, Oberon's co-owners have done a wonderful job with him and they have ensured that I can access him for breeding, as per our co-ownership contract, whenever his stud dog services are required.
In winter 2018, Oberon sired his first litter: Magic Spells litter.
In spring 2021, Oberon sired his second litter: Magical Gems litter.
In summer 2021, Oberon sired his third litter: Hogwarts Houses litter.
In summer 2023, Oberon will sire his fourth litter with Astra.
